Personally, I’m not a big fan of visiting the Disney Parks in the heat of summer. Out-of-school crowds combined with high temperatures usually equals short tempers for all involved. Luckily I found a Disney property where you can enjoy the summer sun in a laid back, less crowded environment.
Aulani is a Disney Resort on Oahu in Hawaii and, as far as I’m concerned, the best way to enjoy summer in Disney style. Despite not having any surfable waves on property, surf culture is represented in some of the theming. Plus, from the resort you are only about an hour’s drive away from some of the best surfing beaches in the world!

Oh, Aulani! I love the surfing poster! I would love something like that in my yard….not that I have surfed a day in my life, but it’d be great with the surf theme I want to create! The whole place must be full of little touches like that! Thanks for sharing!
